Immediate or Urgent Help
In a 911 emergency you may request a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) officer.
These officers are trained to recognize and de-escalate mental health crises.
Locally, they partner with Comprehensive Mental Health Services.
In Blue Springs, the CIT department also has a Community and Youth Outreach Unit that provides crisis intervention and referrals for youth.

Crisis Text Line provides free, 24/7, confidential, text-based mental health support and crisis intervention for anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, loneliness, bullying, substance use, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and more.
