About the event

Serving others can be deeply rewarding, but if you’re not careful, you may find yourself giving everything you have—until there’s nothing left. Whether you’re facing burnout, chronic stress, or compassion fatigue, helpers often struggle with mental health and physical challenges that come from providing spiritual and emotional support.

Compassion fatigue is the emotional and physical exhaustion that caregivers and helping professionals experience due to the chronic stress of providing care and empathy to those suffering from trauma or distress. Over time, compassion fatigue can impact both professional and personal relationships.

Family Caregiver Alliance offers self-care tips. Remember it’s ok to take care of yourself.
